YOUR CITY IS FULL OF HIDDEN GEMS

Anyone ready for an adventure! Hidden Gems is designed for families, friends, couples, coworkers, and groups of all ages. Children should participate with an adult, while responsible teens may participate on their own with a parent or guardian's signed participation agreement. All participants are expected to be respectful of our downtown businesses, their customers, and the community as they explore. 

As many as you'd like! There's no set limit on team size, so whether you're exploring as a pair, a family, or a whole group of friends, you can enjoy the adventure together.

If you register as a VIP Team, your registration includes one VIP bag and one commemorative pin per team. Additional bags and pins may be purchased if you'd like one for each team member.

Not at all! Complete as many challenges as you'd like. Each completed challenge earns prize-drawing entries, so the more you explore and complete, the more chances you'll have to win—but there's no requirement to finish them all. 

No purchase is required! Participating businesses are part of the Hidden Gems experience, and you're welcome to complete their challenges without making a purchase. Of course, if you discover something you love along the way, we always encourage you to support local when you can! 

Not much! You'll need a smartphone with a camera and internet access to complete and submit challenges. Comfortable walking shoes are also a good idea—you'll be exploring Downtown Kingsport! Any additional materials needed for the hunt will be provided or identified in your participant instructions. 

Each challenge will tell you exactly what to do! Some challenges will ask your team to snap a specific photo, while others may have you find a code word at a participating location. A few may even include both! Follow the instructions for each challenge and submit your answer or photo to receive your prize-drawing entries. 

 Every completed challenge gives your team chances to win! Successfully complete and submit a challenge to earn prize-drawing entries. Some special challenges, including those at our Featured Hidden Gem Partners, are worth DOUBLE entries, giving you even more chances to win. 

No! Hidden Gems is designed to fit your schedule. You can explore and complete challenges throughout the two-day event, taking breaks and coming back when it works for your team. Just be sure to submit your completed challenges by the event deadline to earn your prize-drawing entries. 

It’s where we wrap up the adventure and celebrate! Join us at the end of Hidden Gems as we gather together after two days of exploring Downtown Kingsport, draw our hunt prize winners, and celebrate the fun.

We’ll also have additional prize drawings exclusively for those attending the Winner Circle Celebration, so there are even more chances to win just by joining us!

That's okay! You do not have to attend the Winner Circle Celebration to be eligible for the regular hunt prize drawings. Winners who are not present will be contacted after the event to arrange for their prize.

Just keep in mind that additional prize drawings will be held exclusively for those attending the Winner Circle Celebration, so you'll miss those extra chances to win if you can't join us.
